For the fifth year in a row, the Austrian engineering company OBRIST will be a Bronze Sponsor of ATMOsphere Europe 2013. OBRIST specialises in the development of CO₂ systems and components for cooling and heating, with a stronghold in the automotive market.

Since its founding in 1996 by Frank Obrist, OBRIST Engineering has focused on the development of CO₂ technology, beginning with R744 compressors. Upon realising the potential of using CO₂ know-how in mobile air conditioning (MAC) systems, this business area became OBRIST’s first priority.

In addition to engineering components for CO₂ MAC systems, OBRIST is also active in developing heat pumps and components for commercial and transport refrigeration. The company’s main fields of business are engineering, prototyping and licensing. It’s core competences include mechanical, thermodynamic and electrical engineering. In all of its activities, OBRIST emphasises cost efficiency based on environmental awareness and ecological balance.
