We are pleased to announce that the Call for Technology Case Studies for ATMOsphere Europe 2013 is officially open!

We would also like to welcome our new Silver Sponsor Advansor, as well as our new Bronze Sponsor Green & Cool.

If you are working on interesting projects in Europe related to natural refrigerants and would like to present your results to a relevant audience of experts, please find all details below. This year, we are specifically looking for case studies from companies located in Southern Europe and/or projects implemented in the South of Europe.

Due to popular demand, we are increasing the number of Technology Case Study Sessions at this year’s ATMOsphere Europe conference. Therefore, the sessions will be held in parallel to one another and grouped by application field. By doing so, we would like to ensure that a maximum number of exciting new projects can be showcased at ATMOsphere Europe 2013, taking place on 15 & 16 October in Brussels, Belgium.

We are currently seeking case studies that present the latest product innovations, project developments and efficiency results in the field of natural refrigerants (CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, air and water).

Deadline: 15 August, 2013 - Update: Deadline postponed to 30 August, 2013

Application areas:
  • Commercial & Light-Commercial Refrigeration
  • Industrial Refrigeration
  • Air Conditioning (Mobile & Stationary)
  • Heat Pumps
  • Transport
  • New areas of application
Submission criteria

The focus of the case studies should be on product innovations, best practices and/or lessons learned in the field of natural refrigerants in Europe, ideally in the South of Europe or from companies located in these regions. The case study should be a practical summary of an improved practice rather than a formal, rigorous research paper. It should provide and analyse real-life results relating to the energy efficiency and reliability of a new HVAC&R technology using one or multiple natural refrigerants.

Please note that it is important that the case studies present projects in Europe or that are directly relevant to the European market.

Should you wish to submit your case study related to the above-mentioned fields, you are invited to send an abstract that satisfies the following criteria:
  • Sustainable: The case study should address the potential of natural refrigerant technology (CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, water and air)
  • Replicable: Lessons learned that could be applied to other projects
  • Original: Technology innovations, research results that have not been shown elsewhere, new field of applications etc.
  • Tangible: Examples of real life installations and demonstration projects, laboratory testing with tangible results etc.
Author content and format guidelines

In your Case Study submission, please include:
  • Your full name, organisation and email address
  • Case study title
  • An Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
Required: on the last page, authors must provide a list of bulleted best practices and/or lessons learned on the topic.

Deadline for case study submission is 30 August, 2013. Please Submit the Case Study via email to: info@ATMO.org
